What is an Industrial Rotary Dryer?

An Industrial Rotary Dryer consists of a large, rotating cylindrical drum slightly inclined toward the discharge end. As the drum rotates, internal lifters or flights elevate the wet material and cascade it downward through a continuous stream of hot air or gas.

This cascading action maximizes material contact with the drying medium, achieving rapid, uniform moisture evaporation across high throughput volumes.
